Mental Processing Flow Charts

I do not claim that these mental processing flow charts are correct or complete; they were done (over many, many hours), while working on the Concentration for Racers and Reducing the Sensation of Speed sections, as an exercise in understanding the ways in which I process information when driving. What I consider most interesting and important is the big picture. When you are zoomed out to view the whole image, it’s easy to see how complex, convoluted, and therefore time consuming, Intellectual processing is. It’s also easy to see how clean, concise and efficient intuitive processing is.

Anyway, I was not going to include these images because I created them to work out my own thought process, but I’ve decided to include them here as a means of visually conveying my ideas about information processing, and for the amusement of other geeks like myself who are interested in this kind of stuff.
